The ProX200 Column Gage is an extremely versatile instrument available in both horizontal and vertical displays and connects to any of the ProXnet IMBUS Series modules, including the new Digital Probe module for single point mastering. Modules can be mixed for increased versatility. Column Gage is fully configurable by the end-user via front panel or PC. Up to 8 sensor inputs of same or mixed type and up to 8 characteristics. Popular gaging configurations are mixing LVDT transducers (IMBUS LVDT Module) with Air/Electronic Converters (IMBUS A/E Converter Module), or as a dedicated LVDT or Air Column. RS232 Output standard with optional PLC interfacing available. QDAS Compliant.
Industry Standard, Reliable, Serviceable
Sterling ProMeasure Systems Automatic Gages use industry standard Allen Bradley PLC and HMI products. RSLogix 5000 is used for all PLC programming and FactoryTalk View ME or Connected Components Workbench is used for all HMI programming, dependent on the HMI selected.
Control of pneumatic valve operation and functional IO is performed via intelligent Ethernet/IO based valve stacks. Numatics and SMC brands available.
All gage movement functions are monitored while in operation and appropriate HMI diagnostic information is presented to the operator or technician via the HMI should the motion not successfully complete as well as other unexpected events occur (part removal while in operation etc). For customers who have the capability to collect real-time data for historical retention from the Gage PLC via an in-house SCADA system.
Computer-less gaging is an option where the gage PLC or in-house SCADA system performs the tolerance/limit checks versus a computer based software solution. This can result in increased reliability as the computer is removed from the solution.

A new family of Block Gauges make precision measurements of bores and cavities a simple and reliable process. These devices are recommended in applications where space is limited and where the use of axial probes is not possible. The family of universal gauges includes 2 mm, 5 mm and 10 mm measurement ranges.

Digital Flexures are the ideal solution for high precision/ high volume post process or in process gauging applications where cycle time is short and high throughput would shorten the life of a conventional pencil probe. There are no sliding parts to wear out or to cause friction within the frame or sensor which makes flexures virtually free from hysteresis.

WiGauge brings freedom to roam and increased efficiency to gauging stations and work practices. The ability to work without cables means that the gauging process is not restricted by cable length and routing, or the risk of cable damage. Post process gauging stations become more flexible and with the ability to connect multiple WiGauge™ to a single receiver, cable tangles are eliminated in multi-point gauging applications.
